Eligible applicant: A person who is invited by a relative currently living in Korea.
Required from the inviter in Korea:
- Original Invitation letter (with registered corporate seal otherwise notarization)
- Original Guarantee letter (with registered official seal or notarization) download form
- A copy of ARC (Alien Registration Card); both sides (if the sponsor is the applicant’s Nepali spouse or other relative studying in Korea)
- Inviter’s passport photocopy
- Original seal/signature certificate
- Bank balance certificate
- Bank statement (6 months), issued within one month from the date of your visa application.
- Family certificate (if the sponsor is applicant’s Korean spouse)
- Marriage certificate (if the sponsor is applicant’s Korean spouse)
- Lease contract or other (if the sponsor is applicant’s Korean spouse or an international student)
- Job certificate (if the sponsor is applicant’s Korean spouse)
- Business registration certificate (photocopy) (if applicable)
- Student certificate (if the sponsor is an international student)
- Recommendation letter from the university (if the sponsor is an international student)
- Graduation certificate (if the sponsor is an international student)
- Pregnancy certificate indicating due date (if applicable)
- Other proof of invitation (such as wedding venue reservation certificate, wedding invitation cards, photos, etc.)
Required to be provided by applicants:
- Visa Application
- A recent passport-size photo (3.5X4.5 cm, from the last 6 months)
- Passport (original and a photocopy)
- A visa cover letter (applicant should furnish details including the purpose of the visit, a tentative itinerary, and who will cover his or her expenses during the visit)
- Round-trip flight ticket booking (departure date should be at least 21 days after the application date)
- Travel schedule in detail
- Job certificate from a Nepali business entity stating the applicant’s position in the company (original and a photocopy)
- Business registration certificate (photocopy), along with its original notarized translation
- Permanent Account Number (PAN) registration (photocopy), along with its original notarized translation
- Bank Balance Certificate
- Personal bank statements for the last six months (original), issued within one month from the date of your visa application.
(Important)
All the documents from South Korea must be original.
All nepali language documents must be translated into english and notarized by authorized notary publics.
Documents are only valid for three months from the date of issue.
Applicants must provide their original signature on Page 5 of the visa application form, and it must match the signature in the passport.
