Documents required for Marriage Immigrant's Child Care Support Visa (F-1-5 up to 90 days)

Eligible applicant: Parents and Family of Marriage Migrants (F-6-1) to provide childcare support


Required from the inviter in Korea: 


  • Original F-1-5 Invitation Letter (Specific form) download form
  • Original Guarantee Letter (Specific form) download form
  • Original Pledge to Prevent Illegal Stay and Employment (Specific Form)
  • Copy of ID: Resident Registration Card or Passport.
  • Basic Certificate (기본증명서)
  • Family Relationship Certificate (가족관계증명서)
  • Marriage Relation Certificate (혼인관계증명서)
  • Resident Registration Copy
  • Family Relation Certificate in the Child's Name: (If pregnant: Pregnancy medical certificate or prenatal handbook).  
  • If there are 2 or more children, submit certificates for each.

If the child is adopted, submit the Adoption Relation Certificate.

  • Certificate of Enrollment: Required if the child is of school-going age.
  • Special Support Documents (If applicable for illness/disability)

Receipts or documents proving "Serious Incurable Disease" or "Special Calculation (‘산정특례’)" status.

Disability Certificate (Must be marked as "Severe Disability" or "Degree of Disability is Severe").

Note for Single-Parent Households: Must submit their Family Relation Certificate, child's Family Relation Certificate, Resident Registration, and the former spouse's Marriage Relation Certificate.


Required to be provided by applicants from Nepal:


  • Visa Application
  • A recent passport-size photo (3.5X4.5 cm) of the applicant (from the last 6 months) 
  • Original passport and its photocopy 
  • Round-trip flight tickets booking; whose departure date should be at least 15 business days after the application date
  • Family Relationship Certificate: A document that can verify all immediate family members and siblings of the Nepali spouse (Photocopy)
  • Inability to Invite Parents Proof (If inviting a sibling because the parents cannot come, submit copies of the parents' IDs and a doctor's opinion/medical note)


(Important)
All the documents from South Korea must be original.
All nepali language documents must be translated into english and notarized by authorized notary publics.
Documents are only valid for three months from the date of issue.

Applicants must provide their original signature on Page 5 of the visa application form, and it must match the signature in the passport.
